 Virus Protection
Eiko Tech prevents hundreds of thousands of viruses from reaching our users each week. We perform server-side virus scanning that actively scans each message before it reaches a user's inbox.
If a message contains a file with a parasitic virus or some other virus that can be removed from an otherwise useful file, the system will first attempt to clean that file.
If a message contains a file that is a Trojan horse virus, or some other virus that contains no valuable information, the system will strip the virus from the email and deliver the clean email to the user. A text document is then attached, letting the user know what events have occurred.
Spam Filtering
Eiko Tech employs a sophisticated server-side spam filtering system designed to keep spam from ever reaching a user's inbox. Each message is forced to pass through multiple layers of detection before it is ever delivered to the user.
Eiko Tech uses SpamAssassin™ and other spam filtering tools in addition to our custom tools that include multiple Real-Time Blackhole List lookups, relay blocking, complete header inspection, and an advanced heuristics engine that scans the content of an incoming message to intelligently detect if the message is spam.
Our unique spam filtering features allow users to decrease time spent weeding through unnecessary and unwanted emails, and more time on the messages that are vital to their business.
Domains Supported
Most of our soultions allow you to manage email for single domain (www.mydomain.com). If you need to manage multiple domains our outsource / private lable solution allows you to provide email services for as many domains as needed.
Firewall and Security
Redundant firewalls screen all network traffic. We employ regular monitoring of network ports and firewalls, system access restriction, 24x7 surveillance, and security best practices.
Full Backups
Eiko Tech performs full backups with redundant storage for all hosted mailboxes.
IMAP, POP, and SMTP
Use your favorite email program with our POP and IMAP services. POP is great for users on a single computer; all your messages are downloaded to your email program's inbox. IMAP gives incredible flexibility for those who use more than one computer and want to have the latest copy of their email wherever they are. With IMAP, all email is backed up on our servers. Our SMTP services give you access to send email from email software without having to worry about using the network approved SMTP server.
Storage
All mailboxes come with ample storage to start and are easily upgradeable on a per mailbox basis. If you or your associates depend on email for business, sign up for our Business Mail solution that gives each user a generous 100 MB mailbox.
Web Mail
All of our mailboxes come with Web access from virtually any computer connected to the Internet. Our robust Web Mail features include email notification, folders and sub folders, address book, email forwarding, HTML email capability, account status reminder, message search, aliases, and reply addresses.
